Special Education Teachers, General and Special Education Administrators, and Reading Interventionists/Literacy Specialists

 Description:

This awareness-level two-hour online learning module explores the factors related to distinguishing between below-level linguistic proficiency and a reading disability in ELs. The intended audience for this professional learning opportunity includes general and special education teachers; teachers of English as a second language (ESL, TESOL), bilingual teachers, and EL tutors; directors and supervisors of special education; administrators; curriculum specialists, reading teachers, coordinators, and coaches; speech‐language pathologists, school psychologists and families.
